"Love La Chouette. This is the fourth year I have visited with my girlfriend. The house is always clean and tidy, the beds are comfortable and a pool a pleasure on hot days. The outside dining area makes dining as a large group relaxing and fun. It is a short drive to the local supermarche and the options for dining, drinks or coffee in Monpazier suit our needs. We are all together on the patio. Super comfortable. And 5 mins drive from Monpazier which is so charming. The Dordogne was close enough to go canoeing for the day too. Would definitley recommend it and go againl."

"As a family who have always had holidays by exploration, we never thought we'd go to the same place more than once but have loved La Chouette so much we've now been three times. The house, pool and gardens are beautifully managed with plenty of space for friends and family. What we love is the peace and tranquility at the house, yet it is close enough for an easy cycle ride into the most gorgeous village of Monpazier which has every amenity we need, and just a short drive to decent supermarkets and the bustling city of Bergerac. Frances is the most wonderful of hosts who always makes time for our silly questions and we always leave reluctantly but totally relaxed."

“Mark's house is a beautiful renovated farmhouse, extremely quiet and pleasant. It has everything you need to feel at home, and the furniture is very nice and comfortable. We had a great time in Fontblanque. Really very charming and convenient to access the different activities to do in the area (Beaumont-du-Périgord, Monpazier, Biron castle, etc.) We highly recommend this very chic and Champagne accommodation. "I've stayed several times at La Chouette. Always a pleasure to return! The area is lovely (Monpazier is a delight with cafes, restaurants and a wide range of independet shops). We have been canoeing, explored chateaus, wandered through markets and tasted fantastic local wines. The house itself is in the countryside, is comfortable, extremely well equipped and the pool is wonderful. Would love to revisit soon."
